 After a few years hiatus from the music scene Rooftopmcs’ Snatcha is back with his side project SNATCHA AND THE UNSEEN FORCES

On this remake of Chris Delvan’s “You are glorious” Snatcha teams up with the vocal prowess of Deji of Fourkornerz and amazing production by Mr Damention to create this experimental mix of HipHop/ dance/worship. 

“ I had to get really personal on this track, cos I have been through hell and high water lately and it was the ability to hear bad news and burst out in dancing and thanking God through it all that saw me through.” Says Snatcha.

Although the group Rooftopmcs are still very much together, they have both stepped out to do individual projects (to be released on their Rooftopclan music imprint) before coming back to drop another rooftopmcs album.

Hip Hop Artist Da T.R.U.T.H. gears up for the release of Heartbeat,  his seventh studio project and the very first project under his Mixed Bag Entertainment partnership with Eone.  “Heartbeat” will feature notable artists Lecrae, Chris August, Isaac Caree, Alexis Spight, Canon, Papa San and Capital Kings along with newly signed Mixed Bag Artists. Production for the disc is being handled by Grammy award winners J.R., Symbolyc One (S1), Justin Ebach, (Newsboys), Alex Medina and a couple of up and coming producers.

Da T.R.U.T.H. had this to say of the project: “I originally planned to step away from music until 2015 to focus on Mixed Bag Entertainment, but after almost a year of watching & observing the culture, I realized that I had a few more things that I wanted to share. What started as a 3-5 song EP, became a full length album. This record is fun – it’s experimental, gritty and engaging, and having my longtime friend (J.R.)  help me to shape the project makes it that much more enjoyable.”

Heartbeat hit stores and digital outlets on April 15th.

ABOUT SAMMIE OKPOSO


Born on the 30th of may, Sammie Okposo Nigeria born multiple award winning international artist, dedicated time in his youthful years to his local church playing the piano for the choir from age 10. His music profession started in 1992 when he joined the Nigeria Movie Industry as a Sound Track Producer and later ventured into Music Production. Today, he is credited for producing hits for some of the biggest names in the Nigeria Music Scene.

Sammie Okposo is a Globacom ambassador, motivational speaker, multi-instrumentalist, vocal coach, music producer/director, entertainment consultant, and md/ceo of zamar entertainment and Sammie Okposo Hope Initiative. In the year 2000 he took the African music scene to another level with the release of his debut album titled Unconditional Love. The hit track of the album “WELU-WELU” gained a lot of local and international popularity so much so that in 2004, Sammie was invited to perform at the Martin Luther King Day and July 4th Independence day Celebration respectively by the American ambassador to Nigeria.

Antoneo started his stint by rhyming and writing rap about a decade ago prior to joining a gospel band (MTM – More than Music) while in college being the sole rapper of the group. His passion for music deepened his desire to improve his vocal abilities which has progressed rapidly hence his delving into singing. Writing songs naturally comes to him (with a box full of them) as he fixed his tent in the Afro-pop genre making gospel tunes.
He started recording far back in 2005 but did his first solo recording in 2008; he has been privileged to grace lots of stages such as Anniversaries, Youth programs, RCCG-Bode Thomas-Surulere, Miss NYSC sponsored by MTN at the NYSC Camp (Niger;2010), and recently, Star FM’s boogie Xmas Party (to mention a few).
He has decided (by God’s grace) to enter the big scene and is currently out with 2 singles, these include;
Onyedimma - written with the inspiration to contemplatively praise God in dynamic languages - Produced by “Mic on” and featured “Same” (twins blessed with unique vocals).

Jehovah Repete is a song that speaks to you even while you dance to its Fuji feel - Produced by and features “SOJEGGS”.

He is a chorister (tenor singer) and likes to simply define himself as “an envelope of God’s Spirit”.

Adetomi Akinbode Alesh, also known as Tomi Favored, is a young woman born and raised in Kaduna, Nigeria. Now a Citizen of the United States of America, she resides in lovely Los Angeles, California, the city of Angels  She studied nursing at California State University, San Bernardino under the Presidential scholarship.  

Now an established gospel music minister, Tomi Favored is a professional Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Musician pursuing her true passion of music. Tomi Favored  released her Double Singles “Ina Njo” and “A Voice” on March 20th 2014, her birthday. She has created a genre of music all her own known as Ecclectic Christian Music.  

To name a few, Tomi has done work from back-up vocals with "The Voices" on the movie Sparkle with Whitney Houston, for Christopher Cross under the  production of former Madonna producer Stephen Bray, written songs for artists like Benny Oke on his album "A heart for the nations", done a full album with pastor Bola Arowolo, sung backup for artists in concert, performed alongside Nikki Potts, Jonathan McReynolds at Missio Dei's Youth concert in Chicago, performed her music live on radio shows in Los Angeles for Tina Michelle and Pres Blackmon, written and performed songs in studio with producers Dapo Torimiro and Fortune Otega among others, and has attended Living Praise Christian Center in Chatsworth, California since 2009 under the tutelage of Ministers TC Bereal, Patricia Deruso of "The Silvers", and can be seen ministering nearly every Sunday she is not traveling to minster in other churches via LPCC's live stream.

Modupe aweda Born and raised in Christian home in Osu, Osun State, Modupe grew up singing in the church. After graduating from secondary school, she studied Performing Art at University of Ilorin, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Art (BA) in Performing Art with a concentration in music – vocal performance.

She did session work as a backup singer for a wide variety of artists, served as choir coordinator for 3 consecutive session in Methodist Campus Fellowship (MCF), awarded with best female artist in 2000/01 in the department of Performing Arts. Music to her is more than passion, it’s a calling as well.

This young lady (Modupe Aweda) is blessed with the potential for singing. Modupe is generally associated with youth and they say wisdom comes with age, but rarely does one person simultaneously possess both in abundance.  I truly believe that she is doing what she was made to do.

MEET DAMOLA...
Oyindamola Oladipo (Damola Dipo) hails from south west of nigeria. Better known as Damola, she started her music ministry as a member of the choir at the early age of 14 in Baptist Church Oritamefa, Ibadan.  

Having found herself in active music ministry at such an early age, her growing years saw her staying true her calling in music and being part of other bigger platforms where she served in ministry while improving her musical gifts.

With this in view, she joined Evang.Banji Fadehan's musical group as the only female member when the group started out .She later joined Trinity World Evangelical Ministry led by sister Toun Soetan where she featured in many concerts organised by that ministry.    

Presently, Damola is a member of Kingdom Voices, the choir arm of Kingdom Life Global Christain Ministry based in Ibadan.  

She started out doing music professionally and had her first album released in 2012. The album release led to her organizing her very first major concert tagged "SHOUT OF JOY" which clearly ushered her into a robust live music ministry.She has also gone on to share divine moments on stage with the likes of Yetunde Are, Monique,Babatunmise.etc.

 Damola is a graduate of Guardian and Counseling from the University of Ado-Ekiti. Music is more of a calling for her and a gift she uses to share and spread the gospel of Christ, our Greatest Guardian and Counselor
